THE PROGRAM
Our program is taught by experienced birth professionals and is unique in its structure and content. This is not a boring lecture format class with tons of self-paced reading and papers to write. We will walk you through each part of the training. We will guide your way, just as we guide our new families through birth.
Our training is rich with beautiful real-world birth stories that teach. We offer plenty of hands on skills training with the technical background of why and how a technique works and when it should be used. We step you through this training a little bite at a time, building on concepts as we go, allowing you to fully digest the concepts. This allows us to get into the vital critical thinking of labor scenarios. You will practice interviewing skills, start building your brand, and finish our training with confidence and a solid fountain for which to launch your new birth business.
INSTRUCTORS
Bea and Sarah have worked as professional birth workers since 2012. They have each attended hundreds of births as Professional Labor Doulas and Homebirth Midwife Assistants in Colorado Springs, CO. Sarah and Bea co-founded The Doula Circle, a professional doula collective in 2014 and trained some of Colorado Springs best doulas. They have attended births at Hospitals, Independent Birth Center, and countless Home Births. Bea & Sarah have traveled the country over the years to attend various trainings led by the top figures in the birth world today, including The Farm Midwives, Gena Kerby the Rebozo Queen, Pro Doula, Birthing From Within, and Robert Newman of Calm Birth.
Bea and Sarah have combined the best and most useful training skills with their hands-on experience, in order to create a training unlike any other!
