Because you shouldn't have to choose between your baby and your pets.
Dogs present challenges. Infants and toddlers present challenges. Dogs and babies together can present twice the challenge. There is a wide range of opinions and conflicting information about how best to raise babies in a dog-owning household. A better understanding of your dog, and your role in the dog/child relationship will make a huge difference to your family. Bite prevention is a primary goal of this seminar, but harmony, fun and positive solutions are too!
This class is appropriate during pregnancy through toddlers.

Megan trained African wild dogs at the Denver Zoo and dolphins at SeaWorld before founding Train With Trust Behavior Consultants where she helps families solve problems with their furry companions. After training exotic animals in zoos and aquariums since the early 1990’s, Megan began consulting for dog, horse, and cat owners in 2006. She achieved her dog training certification in 2007 and received her Associate Certified Dog Behavior Consultant credential from the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants in 2013. Specializing in customized, private consultations, Megan has developed special skills for helping families with pets to heal from animal-child conflicts. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, so teaching parents to prepare their pets for the addition of a new human baby through interactive workshops has become a labor of love.
